Trade Catalogues

For INFO689-Rare Books and Special Collections, I went into the Archives and Special Collections at Columbia Univeristy’s Avery Library of Art and Architecture and the Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to study trade catalogues. This exhibition highlights five unique examples of interactive trade catalogues and looks at how each company’s design choices affected consumers.
